I’m a veterinarian, horse trainer and instructor based in the Netherlands. I teach groundwork, work in-hand, lunging and dressage from my own viewpoint: awarance. That includes awareness of what’s happening, understanding both in knowledge and understanding of your horse. Anatomy, biomechanics, learning theory and horse behavior play a big part in my lessons and teaching. Clear communication is always the first priority, without understanding there will be no progress. I like training to be fair to both horse and rider.
